We are looking for a data-driven Analyst to join our Global Transportation team. In this role, you will be the analytical driver of our logistics operations — transforming complex freight, carrier, and cost data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across our international supply chain. You will work cross-functionally with transportation, procurement, finance, and operations teams, and will have the opportunity to shape how data is used across the organization.

The Business System Analyst -Transportation position is located in Memphis, TN.

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will:
  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports tracking transportation KPIs including cost per shipment, on-time delivery, carrier performance, and mode efficiency.
  • Design, build, and manage ETL workflows to consolidate data from carrier portals, TMS platforms, internal supply chain systems, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on freight spend, lane optimization, capacity planning, and network design to surface cost-saving opportunities.
  • Partner with procurement and carrier management teams to provide data-driven support during contract negotiations and RFP cycles.
  • Build and maintain scalable data models that support both operational reporting and strategic scenario planning.
  • Champion data quality standards across transportation datasets, identifying gaps and working with IT and data engineering teams to resolve them.
  • Explore and pilot AI/ML applications within transportation analytics, including predictive freight cost modeling and anomaly detection.
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in Power BI or Tableau; ability to build production-grade dashboards with calculated fields, drill-throughs, and row-level security.
  • At least 3+ years in logistics, supply chain, or transportation analytics; familiarity with freight modes (FTL, LTL, ocean, air, parcel) and carrier management.
  • This is an onsite and in office role.
  • Hands-on experience with Alteryx or comparable ETL tools; comfortable building repeatable, automated workflows for data blending and transformation.
  • Proficient in SQL for querying large datasets; experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or similar).
  • Proven ability to translate analytical outputs into business narratives; experienced presenting to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.

We prefer some of these qualities as well:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience working within global or multi-regional transportation networks (North America, Europe, APAC).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to supply chain such as demand forecasting, cost prediction, or anomaly detection; experience with Copilot, Python, or ML platforms.
  • Familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle TMS, MercuryGate, BluJay, SAP TM).
  • Knowledge of trade compliance, customs, or international freight documentation.
  • Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis or automation.
  • APICS CSCP or similar supply chain certification.
